Description

Meshek & Associates, LLC is seeking a full-time Right-of-Way Department Manager in our Tulsa, OK office to develop and maintain a department that fulfills Meshek’s purpose and vision. You will have the opportunity to lead our team of experienced professionals, who are recognized by both the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the International Right-of-Way Association, as they assist communities in land acquisition of right-of-way for infrastructure improvement or to mitigate properties before the next disaster.

You will find success in this role if you are highly skilled in oral and written communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgment, problem-solving, and coordination with other members of a project team. As the Right-of-Way Department Manager, you will make decisions with broad influence on the activities of the company. Some of your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Pursuing additional business lines and developing new client contacts to successfully drive revenue and client satisfaction; develop and maintain trusted community partnerships.
  • Serving as the lead in all client relations, project selection, staff recruiting, strategic planning, innovations, and marketing for the ROW Department. Drive the success of the ROW Department as well as support broader company objectives through the department’s strengths and expertise.
  • Developing and managing the budget for the ROW Department by effectively managing resources and developing cost-effective solutions.
  • Serving as a mentor to staff, overseeing professional development for all team members, and championing their initiatives. Develop talent and maintain employee engagement.
  • Capability to complete the tasks of all department staff if required; ability to review and correct the work of department staff as needed. Anticipates department challenges and develops effective solutions. Effectively delegates tasks, configures project teams, and assigns staff roles. Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA)
  • Licensing: SR/WA, R/W-NAC, R/W-RAC, R/W-URAC, ODOT certification as an ODOT PM
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Software: Web browsers; Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of Ajera Complete is a plus

Compensation

  • $110,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience
