ROW Agent

JSI is now seeking a talented Right of Way Agent, to assist us with our current projects.

JSI is a consulting and broadband solutions leader, offering communications providers a complete range of financial, engineering, regulatory, operational, and strategic services to help them find success at every stage of their businesses. This position works in our Nephi, UT office.

Key Responsibilities

• Among other things, the essential functions of Right of Way Agent will include:
• Right of way agent must be capable of reviewing engineering drawings and construction sheets for cabling and remote site ROW acquisition
• Able to determine to put together what permits, and private easements will be required to successfully submit ROW applications. Standard permitting including Federal, state, county, city along with private easements
• Negotiating the acquisition of right of way and other property interests as needed to accommodate the construction, operation, and maintenance of client facilities
• Verifying and updating client records in an accurate and timely manner
• Serving as a liaison between clients, cities, and counties, among other parties.
• Travel is required. We do not offer company vehicles, but you will be paid for mileage

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Knowledge of permitting process, including landowner communications and notification process
• Knowledge of all aspects of right-of-way, including title research, document preparation, due diligence, negotiation, and acquisition, permitting, operation, public relations as well as a solid understanding of general regulatory and legal issues
• Thorough understanding of telecommunication system objectives and construction techniques.
• Requires a minimum of two years’ experience in ROW for telecom.
• This position requires US Citizenship or permanent resident status.
